Product Information
What ventilated wire profile should i choose?
Shelf & rail
For wardrobes that are 500-590mm deep, you want to choose between 250mm SR, 250/300mm SR or 250/350mm SR
For wardrobes deep than 590mm, you want to choose 300mm SR or 300/300mm SR.
Linen
We have different depths of linen wire, but please factor in an additional 40mm in depth to the overall size for the end brackets. eg) a wardrobe that has 400mm deep linen will require a space of 440mm for installation.
Do you quote for anything besides wardrobes?

Do you quote for sliding doors with mirrors?
Yes.
Can we customise a kitset?
Yes, everything we do is custom. Please hit enquire now or email sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz. Make sure to include your phone number, address and as many measurements as you can. The more information, the better.
Can we order shelves to add to our existing system?
Yes, wire is easy to add to an existing system. Please write a note when ordering if you need the shelf cut to size, if it is wall to wall or if you are attaching it to a pole. Email sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz with photos and measurements if you need assistance
Do you cut the shelves to the measurement I provide?
No, we will cut off 10-20mm off of the measurement you provide. This allows for the brackets to fit either side. If you would like the shelves to be cut exactly to the size you enter, please write in the notes when you check out “shelves cut to size”.
Are the shelves adjustable?
No, the pole clips are drilled in place by us, at our set heights.
Can I pick the heights the shelves are to be set at?
Yes, you can enter “leave pole blank" into the ‘notes’ section when checking out. Alternatively we can drill your custom heights for you, however this is an extra fee - please email sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz for a customised quote. Make sure to include your phone number & address.
Do I need to work out what fittings I need and add them to the cart?
No – all fittings are calculated by us and already included in the price of each shelf/kitset. If you purchase a kitset, then our poles are included in this price. If you purchase “shelving” then you would need to add the poles & pole clips to your cart yourself.
How many pole clips do I need for my shelving purchase?
Linen shelving = 1 per shelf. Shelf and rail = 2 per shelf.
General Information
What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours are 7.00-4.30pmn – Monday to Friday.
How long does it take to get a quote back?
We endeavour to get your quotes out as soon as possible, for an estimate we recommend sending us an email to sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz or calling us on 07 574 6592.
Do I need to make an appointment with a designer before coming into store?
Not at all – however if you give us a call and let us know when you plan on coming, we can ensure there will be someone available to see you.
Are you open on the weekends?
Unfortunately, no.
Delivery and Collection
Do you send to rural addresses?
Yes, as long as the shelving is under 1400mm long. Anything over 1400mm long we will contact you for an alternative non-rural address.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Our address is Unit 3, 18 Aerodrome Road, Mount Maunganui 3116. Opening hours 7.00-4.30pm – Monday to Friday.
What is your processing time on orders?
Wire shelving orders will be dispatched within 5 working days of payment being cleared. Inspired shelving will be dispatched within 3 weeks of payment being cleared.
If I order the wrong item can I return it?

My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
Please take a picture first, of the damaged box - then of each individual damaged shelf. Send through to sales@nzwardrobves.co.nz. We will send you out replacements immediately. The pictures are so we can make a claim with our freight company.
Installation and Warranty
Do you install?
Yes, please email sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz for a quote. Make sure to include your phone number, address and as many measurements as you can. More information the better.
Do you require a deposit for installs?
Yes we require a 70% deposit.

What is your turn around time for wire installs?
Once you receive your quote, you’ve accepted and signed off the drawings (and paid the 70% deposit) – we advise it is normally 1-3 weeks – depending on how far ahead we are booked at the time.
What is your turn around time for Melteca installs?
Once you receive your quote, you’ve accepted and signed off the drawings (and paid the 70% deposit) – we advise it is normally 2-4 weeks – depending on how far ahead we are booked at the time.
Do you install outside of the BOP?
Yes – we are known to install all over BOP and parts of the Waikato. Please email sales@nzwardrobes.co.nz or calling us on 07 574 6592 to check whether we can install in your area.
Do you provide free site measures?
Yes we provide free site measures in the local Tauranga/area. If you are outside of this area, we ask you send through measurements – we will then provide a quote and if you wish to go ahead, we will send you a 70% deposit – once this is paid, we will come out to site measure.
Do you need to site measure for wire?
No – measurements do not have to be exact to the millimetre – as the brackets allow a tolerance of up to 50mm.
